As a tribute to the valor and selflessness of PACE Volunteers, more than 100,000 hours of documented community service have been registered. High school graduates have given of their time in the intervening period between their final exams and the start of their university courses towards tutoring and mentoring students within the PACE network of under privileged schools.
This has resulted in improved grades and mean scores among our primary school students, better opportunities for high school transition and broader career options.
The volunteer program has been successful in creating win-win outcomes for our schools and volunteers by integrating multiple career-development rewards into the rigorous school-based service experience.
